Ten Mile Group Takes Off!

Perfect weather for day one of the Ten Mile Group!

Before you can run, grasshoppers, you must write.

A rapt audience. What's everybody looking at?

Ah, it's the Washington Monument!

Coach Jeannie's group gathers after the first three-mile run.

Run well!

Great pictures. It was a great day for running, rare in DC in July, and 39 athletes came out to run with the six coaches. Jeannie did a great job with your group, as did Matt taking his group out six miles around Haines Point past The Awakening statue, and Linda and Kristin taking another group out for three miles on the Mall to the Smithsonian Castle. Next week we'll be at Lincoln at 8 am for the last time before changing the starting time and moving elsewhere, and at least one additional coach will join us. Anyone who missed today, come out and run with us next week, just show up a few minues early to register for the program and pay the $35 fee. Next stop, the Army 10-Miler in 12 weeks!
